Hello sports fans!
This afternoon at 5:00 I will be hosting the first edition of “The Insane Sports Platter” of the spring semester. I will be joined for the first segment of the show by our Griffs beat reporter Marquel Slaughter. We will be talking about Canisius basketball and how nice it was to finally beat Niagara. The Super Bowl and the Sabres will also be on the plate along with whatever you guys choose to add to the pot. Give me a call at (716)888-2198 To throw your opinions into the fire! I am going to go into detail on the Brian Campbell contract negotiations and why things look sour for the future if you are a Sabres fan. I will also give you my Super Bowl prediction which you probably already know if you cheated and read my column at totk.com for this week.
I want to hear from you! Who is going to win the big game on Sunday? What is your opinion on the Campbell situation?
If you don’t agree with me or feel that I am looking at things the wrong way, please call me out on it! I love to debate hot sports topics, that is why I love doing these shows with you guys!
Remember you can listen on line by going to http://dma.canisius.edu/~wire Just remember to turn your computer down when you call.
If you are on campus here at Canisius, you can also listen to the show on channel ten on your television.
I don’t care how you listen or where you call from, I only care that you do listen and that you do call!
I will talk to you in a few hours!

Hello to all of my listeners!
For those of you who do not know me well, I am Patrick Engasser, the producer and host of “The Insane Sports Platter.” It is a call-in sports talk show that airs every Monday from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. on “The WIRE” Canisius College Radio. We discuss and debate sports topics of all kinds. Our station “The WIRE” is the campus radio station at Canisius College in Buffalo New York, so Buffalo sports and Canisius athletics are always high on the list of things to talk about. However, we do also get into national sports topics such as the NFL, NHL, NBA and MLB from a national perspective. All sports fans are welcome to tune in and listen to the show as we bring it to you live in the form of streaming audio on the web at: http://dma.canisius.edu/~wire I invite you to participate in the discussion by calling our live studio phone (716)888-2198 Between the times of 5:15 and 7:00 P.M. each Monday. All serious questions, comments and opinions are welcome. Please remember that we must follow FCC regulations, and if you use offensive language or make inappropriate comments your call will be dropped immediately. Email any questions that you might have to wire@canisius.edu and we will get back to you as soon as possible. We thank you for your support!
